Solitaire
The classic patience game: build every suit from ace to king, drawing one card or three, on deals you can win.
- Solo
Match the top card, or play a Jack, to take the pile; take a lone card and it is a pishti. Play the computer, or send a friend a link and play from two browsers.
Take cards from the pile and score points. A game goes to 51, 101 or 151 points, picked under Game to: once a deal takes someone there, the higher score wins.
Four cards go to the middle: three face down and one face up on top (a Jack turned up goes back into the deck). The face-down three go to whoever takes the pile first. Each player gets four cards, and four more each time both hands are empty, until all 52 are out. The player who didn’t deal goes first, and the deal changes hands every deal.
Play one card on the pile. A card of the same rank as the top card takes the whole pile, and so does a Jack, whatever is on top. Any other card stays on the pile. A Jack on an empty pile just lies there.
When the pile is a single card and you take it with a card of the same rank, it is a pishti: 10 points. A Jack on a lone Jack is 20. A Jack on any other lone card takes it, but scores no pishti.
| A pishti | 10 |
| A Jack on a lone Jack | 20 |
| Each Jack | 1 |
| Each Ace | 1 |
| 2 of clubs | 2 |
| 10 of diamonds | 3 |
| Most cards (none at 26 each) | 3 |
When the last card is played, whatever is left on the pile goes to the last player who took it, and the deal is scored. Points add up from deal to deal; if a deal ends with the scores level at the game’s points or past them, one more deal is played.
Tap or click a card in your hand to play it. With a keyboard, 1 to 4 play your cards from the left.
A game against the computer is kept in this browser and comes back paused. A friend’s game goes through a small server that shuffles, deals and passes the cards, so neither of you sees the other’s hand; it forgets the game a day after the last card.
